V8Factor Unleashed – Released

Team ORSM has released the first version of their highly-anticipated V8Factor Unleashed mod for rFactor that will bring several seasons of Australia’s very popular V8 Supercar series to the simulation. V8Factor Unleashed includes several complete V8 Supercar seasons, featuring revised physics, sounds, new car models and more. Check out the trailer below to wet your appetite while downloading. The now-released mod is meant to be a base for further releases as the team will be adding more seasons to the mod in the future. Also available is the 2010 season addon that adds the most recent season to the mod. Important: Make sure to have the base pack installed before using the 2010 addon! Bathurst Track for the Aussies in Need for Speed GRID "Reloaded"

Grid now has new Download Content (DLC) packs and one will give the
Aussies a "boner", as they say in the land of V8's. The site spiel goes
as follows; The new Prestige Pack introduces the beautifully realised, legendary Australian Bathurst circuit and 10 of the planet’s most desirable cars, including the Ferrari F430 GTC, Bugatti Veyron and Ferrari F575 GTC. Gamers can also get behind the wheel of the Mercedes SLR McLaren 722, Lotus 2-Eleven, Lamborghini Gallardo GT, Mazda Furai, Jaguar XKR GT3, Honda Integra Type-R (DC5) and Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4. The 8 Ball Pack delivers eight superb high performance new cars to drive in the game’s ‘Race Day’ mode and online races. New featured cars include the McLaren F1 GTR, TVR Cerbera Speed 12, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X, Honda S2000, Nissan GT-R (S-G2008), VW Nardo, Pontiac Firebird and the Volvo C30. The 8 Ball pack also comes complete with two new multiplayer events to compete in set on existing circuits from across Race Driver: GRID’s three continents and designed to test drivers to their very limit online.  |
 The Prestige Pack will also be available as separate DLC for existing Race Driver: GRID players in PAL territories and North America, and will launch on the PLAYSTATION® Network on 11th of March for £7.99 / $9.99. The 8 Ball Pack is currently available for download on PLAYSTATION Network and Xbox LIVE® Marketplace. All downloadable content requires a copy of Race Driver: GRID to play. Race Driver: GRID Reloaded launched in PAL territories on March 11th with a UK street date of March 12th for the PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment system priced at £24.99. A Reloaded edition of Race Driver: GRID for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system will also be available and include a DLC code for the 8 Ball Pack. |
