New GTR Title Coming 2011

Wednesday, April 07, 2010
Great news for PC sim racing fans with announcements on new releases.  When the Swedes put their minds to it we can expect something very good.  Now SimBin have seen what is on offer with Forza and had a look at the iconic Gran Turismo (still coming) they can focus on a niche.  Be great to see it on PS3 but that would be asking too much, wouldn't it?

Simbin has just announced to be working on a third installment of their popular GTR series of racing simulations as a new GTR title is planned to be released in 2011.

The title is described as going back to the roots of SimBin-style racing simulations and the studio promises a significant step up in terms of realism, graphics and immersion. The title will be equipped with new and innovative multi-player features and backed by a comprehensive post-release DLC plan.

You can check out the first concept image of the title here, further information on the title is not yet available. It’s not yet confirmed which GT-style series the new title will focus on but there’s a possible hint if you want to speculate though, as the concept image shows the pit-building of Nürburgring - a track the new FIA GT World Championship races on.
