Mercedes-Benz has added a new attraction to their Berlin branch, introducing the Mercedes-Benz Formula One simulator. Build by Simforce Emotions, the simulator uses a full-scale F1 car model placed on a motion platform. Watchful observers will instantly notice that the simulator uses a product from the sim racing community as a wheel built by Team ARC is used. The video only gives us a very short peek at the screen, showing a familiar-looking software. |

We were honoured when Mercedes selected VisionRacer as their platform of
choice to go with their new SLS-AMG supercar. The Mercedes Facebook game is very cool, so check it out and get "the word" out. With the big hitters like Mercedes seeing what connection the virtual driving audience brings it benefits all. The more buzz Mercedes gets and better, identifies specifically, the more they listen. "Since we first learned that the company’s new SLS-AMG would grace GT5’s cover, the company has been increasingly open about their affiliation with the game. Need for Speed Shift – Exotic Racing Series Pack Trailer

Following yesterday’s big batch of preview shots, EA & Slightly
Mad Studios have released a new video trailer for the upcoming Exotic
Racing Series DLC pack for Need for Speed Shift. The Exotic Racing Series DLC Pack will enrich the Xbox 360 and
Playstation 3 versions of Shift with seven brand new sports cars, one
new track and over 50 events for the title’s career mode. The pack includes some of the most exotic sports cars around,
including the Gumpert Apollo, the Mercedes Benz SLR Stirling Moss and
the new McLaren MP4-12C. Also included are some famous classics such as
the Honda NSX and the BMW M1 Procar.

GT5 Release Details (Part 2)

The Official Playstation Magazine, Polyphony Digital has now unveiled the official box art of their upcoming Gran Turismo 5 racing title.
The cover of the Playstation 3 racing title shows Mercedes Benz
brand new SLS AMG coupe, a modern version of the legendary 300SL
Gullwing.
Gran Turismo 5 will be bringing 1000 cars and over 60 tracks to the Playstation 3, including new features such as damage, weather and day/night effects. The title has been announced to be released in March 2010 in Japan, dates for the US & Europe have not been given.
