At VisionRacer we’re always looking to further our relationships with quality, likeminded gaming and driving organisations. Our latest announcement is a partnership with Revolution Racing, the US based NASCAR team owners.
This is VisionRacer’s first foray into NASCAR, and we’re psyched to see our product being appreciated by all forms of racing, across the globe. The VisionRacers will be used with iRacing software for driver development and training. Revolution Racing is installing 8 VisionRacer units at their Moorseville, North Carolina headquarters, allowing drivers to compete in head to head racing – a first for these top level teams.
It was the authenticity of the driving experience that really attracted Revolution Racing’s attention, “Our drivers are able to climb into the simulator and test at a different track every day without leaving the race shop,” said John Story, President of Revolution Racing. |
VisionRacer sees this as further evidence that virtual track practice will continue to expand in all racing categories. “We’ve long preached the advantages of time, fuel, damage efficiencies, and such partnerships as this prove that the VisionRacer technology is certainly a match for old style practice,” said David Harvey, VisionRacer CEO. With NASCAR policy banning testing on particular tracks, the use of simulators is a distinct advantage, and VisionRacer’s aim has been to offer this superior experience to both professional and recreational drivers and gamers alike. As we like to say.......NASCAR, bring it on!
