Sega is still pumping out some fun racing titles. Sega Rally Online Arcade is set to release on XBLA May 18 and on PSN after the service returns. This Sega Rally experience is said to be “bred from the DNA ofSega Rally Revo and Sega Rally 3.”

The title has single player, 2-6 online multiplayer, and local head to head (via split screen) modes. The championship event pits racers against 22 competitors. Some of the unlock cars looks fierce, including the Bowler Nemesis, McRae Enduro, Andorra Racer, and Icelandic Racer. There are five courses Sega Rally, which is two more than the original. The detail in the racing is quite nice to observe in the below video, especially when the driver washes the mud of the car and the numerous callbacks to older Rally titles.

Sega Rally came out a couple of years ago.  They used VisionRacers extensively in the development testing.  Sega we so appreciative they gave us our own car in the title.  The only problem was it was buried in the game somewhere we never unlocked it.  Personally, I found it too archade so let see how this version shapes up.
